font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">With an overall score of 89.77 out of 100, Phu Quoc Island ranked behind Boracay in the Philippines, Bali in Indonesia, Koh Samui and Phuket in Thailand and Langkawi in Malaysia at the 2022 Readers&#8217; Choice Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\">The rest of the top 10 were Sri Lanka Island, Palawan in the Philippines, Okinawa and Ryuku Islands in Japan and Phi Phi Islands in Thailand.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Phu Quoc is renowned for its production of fish sauce, an indispensable Vietnamese condiment, and home to high-end resorts and casino complexes.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">It has gained popularity after the government allowed 30-day visa free entry in 2014.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In 2019, before Covid-19 hit the country, the island received over five million visitors, including 541,600 foreigners.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;
